Editorial Reviews About the Author The consulting editor, Rachel Halstead, received a BA (Hons) in History from University College London and a secondary education PGCE in History (with English as a second language) from Durham University. Since then, Rachel has been a teacher and she is now head of the History department and deputy in the Humanities faculty. She teaches from year 7 up to A-level at year 13, so her teaching covers a wide range, from the early Romans up to the early 1990s. Struan Reid is an archeologist and historian who has written a number of educational and reference books for children. His previously published works include Hands-On History Projects: Clothes (Southwater).
