Start School Talk About My Big School Ladybird

This text aims to answer the question, "what will it be like"? for children about to start school. Children are given a "tour" around a school, and get to see all the ins and outs of the various activities that go on in the classroom, the playground, the dining room and all around the school. The flaps enable them to look in drawers, cupboards and even at their dinner while it's cooking! By the end of the book, children should feel more reassured about what their school environment will offer them, and feel more confident about their impending first day.
